Asia Cup 2023: India vs Pakistan Round 2 on Sep 10 confirmed ?

India will take on Nepal in their next game in Asia Cup 2023 on Monday.

In the world of cricket, anticipation is building for a potential rematch between arch-rivals India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023. The first encounter between these two cricketing giants ended in disappointment as rain played spoilsport, leading to a match cancellation. However, cricket enthusiasts may get their wish for a second round of this epic clash.

Pakistan, often referred to as the “Men in Green,” have already secured their spot in the Super 4s stage of this marquee tournament. On the other hand, India has a crucial match against Nepal on the horizon. A victory against Nepal on Monday could see India advancing to the Super 4s. Even if rain interferes again, India’s performance thus far positions them as the second team to qualify from Group A.

According to the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) schedule, the two qualifying teams from Group A—India, Pakistan, and Nepal—will square off in the Super 4s clash scheduled for September 10, a Sunday, in the vibrant city of Colombo.

Cricket enthusiasts are abuzz with the possibility of an India-Pakistan showdown in the final match of the Asia Cup. The competition is fierce, with Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh battling it out for a spot in the Super 4s, adding an extra layer of excitement to the tournament.

Reflecting on the opening match between India and Pakistan in Kandy, it was a day to remember for the Men in Green’s bowlers. The formidable pace trio of Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf managed to scalp all ten Indian wickets. India, led by vice-captain Hardik Pandya and young sensation Ishan Kishan, came close to achieving centuries but fell short.
