International Emmy Awards 2023: Standup comedian Vir Das wins International Emmy Awards for “Vir Das Landing”
International Emmy Award 2023:
Famous stand up comedian Vir Das has created history by winning the trophy for Best Unique Comedy at the International Emmy Award 2023. Vir Das has received the International Emmy Award for the show ‘Vir Das Landing’ streaming on Netflix. Along with ‘Vir Das Landing’, ‘Derry Girls Season 3’ has also been awarded the Emmy International Awards for comedy. The competition between the two was equal and both of them won this prestigious award.
It is noteworthy that earlier in 2021 also, Vir Das was nominated for the International Emmy Awards for his comedy show ‘To India’ but then he could not win this award. This year, actress Shefali Shah for ‘Delhi Crime 2’ (Netflix) and actor Jim Sarab for ‘Rocket Boys 2’ (Sony Liv) were also nominated for the International Emmy Award.
