August 2024 saw the release of several major films. As we step into September, many movies from various film industries are lined up for release. Fans are eagerly awaiting films like “The Buckingham Murders”, “GOAT”, “Devara – Part 1”, “Yudhra”, and “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”. Continuing the excitement, here’s an intriguing list of movies coming out in September 2024. 1) The Buckingham Murders
In this murder mystery, Kareena Kapoor plays Detective Sergeant Jasmeet Bhamra. The film is written by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakkar. It is produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films, in collaboration with Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor. The story revolves around Jasmeet, a detective and mother who, after losing her child, is assigned to investigate the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire. As she delves deeper, she finds herself caught in a web of secrets, with almost everyone in the small town becoming a suspect. “The Buckingham Murders” is set to release in theaters on September 13. The cast also includes Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.
2) GOAT
Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Kalpana S Aghoram, Kalpana S Ganesh, and Kalpana S Suresh under AGS Entertainment, this film stars Vijay as a field agent and spy with over 65 successful operations under his belt. Vijay will be seen in a dual role, portraying both father and son. The film also features Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Laila, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Yugendran, VTV Ganesh, and Arvind Akash. “GOAT” is scheduled for release on September 5.
3) Devara - Part 1
In “Devara – Part 1”, Saif Ali Khan plays the main antagonist Bhaira, and Janhvi Kapoor plays the lead female role. This marks the Tollywood debut for both Saif and Janhvi. The film also stars Junior NTR. Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Yuva Sudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film is set to hit theaters on September 27.
4) Sector 36
Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal are set to captivate audiences in their never-before-seen avatars in this upcoming crime thriller, which will release on Netflix on September 13. This is Aditya Nimbalkar’s directorial debut. Inspired by true events, “Sector 36” tells the story of several children going missing from a local slum, leading a local police officer to uncover a disturbing truth in a shocking sequence of events. The film explores themes of power, crime, and social inequality and is based on a police officer’s encounter with a cunning serial killer in a gripping investigation. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
5) Berlin
Starring Aparshakti Khurana and Ishwak Singh, this film will release on ZEE5 on September 13. Directed by Atul Sabharwal, this spy thriller is set in the political landscape of New Delhi in the 1990s. The story unfolds when authorities arrest a deaf and mute young man (played by Ishwak) on suspicion of being a foreign spy. The case becomes complicated when a skilled sign language interpreter (played by Aparshakti) is brought in to interpret, only to find himself entangled in a web of conspiracy. The film also stars Rahul Bose, Anupriya Goenka, and Kabir Bedi.
6) Never Let Go
This psychological horror film stars Halle Berry in the lead role and is set to release on September 20. “Never Let Go” tells the story of a mother, portrayed by Halle, and her twin sons, played by Percy Daggs IV and Anthony Jenkins, who have been tormented for years by a malevolent forest spirit. The film is directed by Alexandre Aja.
7) Yudhra
This action film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan, and Raghav Juyal. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Sudha Anukta, “Yudhra” will hit theaters on September 20. The film is directed by Ravi Udyawar and promises a mix of thrilling action and a dynamic storyline.
8) Binny and Family
Varun Dhawan’s niece, Anjini Dhawan, makes her Bollywood debut with this film. Anjini plays Binny, a young girl who loves living life on her own terms. The story takes an interesting turn when her grandparents move in with her parents, leading to conflicts due to generational differences. Written and directed by Sanjay Tripathi, “Binny and Family” is set to release on September 20.
9) Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
This film features Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Jenna Ortega, and Willem Dafoe. Directed by Tim Burton, it is set for a global release on September 6. In this sequel to Tim’s iconic 1988 supernatural comedy “Beetlejuice”, three generations of the Deetz family return to Winter River after an unexpected tragedy.
10) Jungkook: I’m Still
Jungkook’s new documentary is described as a video diary capturing the eight-month journey leading up to the singer’s solo debut. It is set to release in theaters worldwide on September 18. Directed by Junsu Park, the documentary is presented by BigHit and chronicles the time when BTS member Jungkook released his first solo album “Golden”, including the track “Seven”, featuring rapper Latto.
