Tiger 3 Advance Booking Day 1:- Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 expected to take a big opening on Diwali.

Superstar Salman Khan hopes to break a few box office records on Diwali. The much-anticipated action film Tiger 3, starring the superstar, has begun accepting full advance bookings. Preliminary rumors point to a Sunday, Diwali day release.

The third installment of the action franchise, which also features Katrina Kaif, has chosen to have an unusual release date on Laxmi Pooja, a day that is normally dreary despite being a national holiday because of the celebrations.

In spite of this, Tiger 3 has had an incredible first day of pre sales. In the first 24 hours of full-fledged advance booking going live, the Yash Raj Films spectacle sold 1,42,030 tickets in total across all platforms and languages, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Tiger 3 is expected to smash the record and create new benchmarks with its Diwali opening, surpassing the record-breaking Laxmi Pooja day collection now held by Hrithik Roshan film Krrish 3, which garnered Rs 15 cr (on its day three) according to Pinkvilla.

The record-breaking movie to debut on Laxmi Puja day is Ra.One, an ambitious superhero picture directed by Shah Rukh Khan in 2011 that brought in Rs 14.75 crores.

Almost 60,000 tickets for Tiger 3 were sold in the first 24 hours of day one advance sales at national chains PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. The numbers, both by themselves and in light of Diwali Day, are outstanding and position the movie for a huge opening weekend at the box office. Tiger 3 is now lagging behind other successful films, particularly Jawan and Pathaan.

Within the first 24 hours, 1,17,000 tickets for Shah Rukh’s Pathaan, which takes place in the same spy universe as YRF, were sold at national chains. Deepika Padukone co-stars in the Siddharth Anand-directed film, which had a regular Wednesday release on January 26 as its second day.

Jawan, Shah Rukh’s second movie of the year, outperformed even Pathaan in terms of ticket sales, selling 1,38,00 for day one in the first 24 hours at national chains. Jawan, which was directed by Atlee, was released on Thursday, the day of Janmashtami, a partial vacation. Pathaan sold 10,81,091 tickets in total on its first day of sales throughout India, while Jawan sold 15,78,934 tickets on all platforms.

In terms of national chains, Jawan is ranked first for 2023 with 5,57,000 tickets sold on the first day, followed by Pathaan with 5,56,000. By the end of its final run, Tiger 3 hopes to be among the top three films, with ticket sales currently hovering around 60,000 in national chains. Adipurush presently has the third position at national chains’ first-day advance booking this year with 2,85,000 tickets sold.

Also starring Emran Hashmi, Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma, who had previously helmed films like Fan and Band Baaja Baaraat. Tiger 3 will see special appearance by Shah Rukh as Pathaan as well as Hrithik Roshan, who will feature as the spy Kabir from War.
